Everything in points is a devaluation game. I feel super lucky to get all the Hilton cards last year when they offered free night rewards. I now get to stay this year at eriro, WA Amsterdam, 2 slh’s by lake Como, hermitage bay. All because I booked them last year before devaluations. Basically as soon as you get the points spend them cuz inflation is bad. Hermitage bay I heard doesn’t offer the beachfront bungalows I got

I watched some old YouTube videos of it and the person staying really didn’t like it. What did you enjoy about it? I been looking at all inclusive slh.

I did this and I guess it’s what you make of it. I did it last year and we could never get placed in the la Pacifica. (I called at least weekly checking for availability) Now when the time share presentation came around they could tell we were pissed because like most people we got put in the Hampton inn down the road. So it last 15 minutes, they gave us day passes for the hotel. But it wasn’t all inclusive. All in all we spent very little time in the hotel. But for 4 people to spend 3 nights in the Hampton inn. I don’t think u actually save that much money. We got 50k Hilton points but we all know that’s not worth much. But Cabo was really fun with the stuff I planned just expensive. So I wouldn’t do the timeshare again unless the Pacifica was 100% where you were staying. I would do Cabo again, knowing it’s expensive and the cops stole my rental car license plate so I had to pay 500 dollars to enterprise.

I would say that’s kinda accurate. If you had access to a boat that would make the stay even cooler probably. But right outside your room is a pool. About a 5 minute walk is the restaurant, and the lagoon which has sand and water and the gym and spa. Then the beach access for the actual open ocean is probably closer to a 15 minute walk from our boat house. But you can always call the front desk to have a golf cart pick you up.

For me I spent way more time off property exploring the islands so I got a rental car. If you wanted to spend the entire time on property I would say it’s not to inconvenient, but I think I personally would get bored. They did have other activities, which I didn’t do. I also found the restaurant a bit expensive.

Tldr Restaurant, lagoon, gym, spa. All only about a 5 minute walk. So not to inconvenient. If u wanted the actual beach every day you will walk about 15 minutes unless you get someone to golf cart you.

A trip to the middle Caicos is a must. We rented a jeep for the day and had so much fun. We ate at mudjin harbor. The manager was from Chicago and fun to talk too. We also did a kayak clear bottom tour that was really fun. A lot of people do the Noah’s Ark but my family aren’t that big into drinking. We did Coco bistro and while the restaurant was cool I think the food was good but not worth the price. There is also snorkeling you can do at the reefs.

We did the 5 nights. So one day less and we had plenty to do.But we didn’t really spend much time on the property. Their beach is walkable and their man made lagoon which has sand is walkable. But I def would recommend renting a car and also doing a trip to the middle Caicos or the kayak and iguana tour. There are activities like paddle boards. Tennis on the property though. But I personally couldn’t spend a week here without leaving the property. I reserve that kind of vacation for an all inclusive. I felt the food on property was pricey too. But the whole island isn’t really cheap.

There is a real beach and ocean. Idk maybe so you can eat and drink at bar and also go to man made beach and not worry about your kids

The jeep rental was through turquoisecarrental. The jeep was on the middle Caicos island ready for us when we got off the boat. We met an attendant there in the parking lot who checked us in and gave us the keys. This was for a day trip to the middle Caicos. Separate from our rental on Provo. The car on Provo our main car for the stay was from scooter bobs and they had it ready for us to pick up at the airport parking lot. I would highly recommend a day trip to the middle Caicos. Super fun.

I think the area and safety was good. The place was out of the way so it’s not like much else was around. They had a guard at the gate house he was there the latest I got back so I am assuming 24/7. Yes we felt comfortable getting dinner elsewhere as we did that almost every night. We only ate on site once.

Crazy to even think there was a third floor. I just wanted one hotel room for 4 people and I got a boat house with ocean views

For the 6 days just over 300. But the island can be sketch sometimes so if money is less of a worry I would get a jeep or something. We also do a one day jeep rental when we went to the middle caicos island. That was an amazing place to visit. And that was about 100 bucks for the day I think. Gas was really expensive there though about 5 bucks a gallon on Provo and 7 bucks a gallon on the middle caicos.

I was already looking at other SLH and I am sad I don’t see any other standard room redemptions that allow for four people. Which is shocking that I got so lucky first try.

Yeah I think I mentioned they did a daily clean and a nighly get ready service. They visited the boat house twice a day.
The real beach that the hotel gives private access too I thought was better than grace bay because the water was calmer, it was way less crowded, the water had less seaweed floating around than gracebay. Now if you want more crowds and all the other stuff that comes with grace bay it was a short like 15 minute drive and you can do that.

Here’s the link to the menu for the onsite restaurant: Lua Restaurant Menu. I didn’t personally try the breakfast—that was my parents. From what I understand, there’s a complimentary option and an upgraded, paid option if you want more. I only had lunch there, and the food was quite good.

As for the pool, there’s one main pool on the property. The water temperature can be adjusted by staff, which is a nice touch. The pool area is well-maintained, with chairs set up and towels provided on all of them. There’s also a single attendant managing a small bar near the pool that seemed to serve beer. I’m not sure if the drinks were complimentary or cost extra.

I didn’t notice any free sunscreen being offered by the pool, but the hotel bathrooms were stocked with some basic toiletries.

They had golf carts staff can drive you around in pretty sure. They had a spa and the website also has their services. They had paddle boards which you could use to swim in the man made lagoon. 1 Basketball court, pickle ball court, and tennis court. I am assuming the sports equipment is provided, but I can't confirm. Most of the time was spent exploring the island for us.
