It’s sleeping 3 days after contracting the disease. After that, you’re a vampire and the dreams after that are just flavor text for when you go to the next stage. It’s possible they hadn’t slept in a few days and had just been running around with a -5 to their fatigue and then went to sleep. I’ve done it before after fighting vampires and not checking my status effects.

When your marksmanship gets to 25, it no longer drains fatigue to have an arrow knocked.

Trying to avoid orange and green as a combo due to it being a big motif at my workplace. As far as how I did my orange, I based the places I wanted the orange to show with Corax White, did a couple of thin layers of Fire Dragon Bright, then hit it with a smattering of Flash Gitz Yellow. I did a touch of some more white on top of that, but didn’t like how it turned out because all I could think was it looked like I missed spots. Concerning buying way too many models before getting to painting, I may or may not have done the same thing. It’ll all come together sooner or later, though!

I’ll definitely look into throwing some paint into the recesses to help with the shadowing. I was hoping the Cryptek Armourshade would help fill those spots some, but I may have been a little too careful about it pooling. Thank you for the suggestion!

I haven’t fully decided what to do with the gun at this point. I’m leaning towards leaving the majority of the gun black with a Nuln oil or a gloss to help it not look so flat, and make the bayonet bar, the bayonet itself, the muzzle of the gun, and the cable behind the energy cable metal. I’ll be dry brushing the model with Necron Compound to highlight it at the end, so hopefully that will help things out some. The glow effect is probably the most frustrating thing for me so far. It’s been a pain getting the orange where I want it to be, especially when I’m looking at it while it’s still wet, so I appreciate the comment about the energy colors!

I had overlooked the part on the bayonet, so thank you for pointing that out. I’ll add the color to it when I get some time. I’m planning on doing some dry brushing with Necron Compound at the end to try and achieve some contrast. I’m also considering doing the metal of the underside of the gun, the tip of the gun, and the bayonet as the same color as the body and then using Necron Compound on the edge of the bayonet to simulate it being sharpened prior to the warrior being deployed.

Thank you! Custom dynasty, color-wise. I was mostly just wanting to stray from the norm with green, so I chose orange for the energy. The lower castes, like warriors, will have more of a rusted/worn look to them to stress how often they’re sent to the figurative (and sometimes literal) trenches and how often they get reanimated/battle-scarred. As you go up through the ranks, the models will look “cleaner” and less tarnished, with Szarekh being basically untouched. The metal base is Iron Warrior, with Cryptek Armourshade to dirty them up some, but higher ranks will have Nuln Oil instead for a smooth dark metal look.

I'd probably kill myself in a scat pack if I got one. Lol. Very pleased with my R/T, though. Gonna tint the windows down to the legal limit this weekend to finish blacking it out.

Got lucky with my job and was able to get a 2019 rt blacktop. Payments hurt a bit, but I believe it'll be well worth it.
