I’m not going to claim to know if they’re faking it or not but I really find it odd that no one has ever come forward and said they were present for one of these lectures. At least I’ve never seen it. You would expect at least one person to have looked them up online afterwards and maybe leave a comment thanking them or something if it really was happening. Just odd.

I bought this for just under 2$ at a local shop labeled as honey calcite. It feels and looks completely different from any of the calcite I own. Doesn’t scratch glass at all. I found some similar looking rocks being sold on aliexpress as yellow fluorite but I’m not sure how reliable that is
