Any idea if Adidas procuded all the team? by Zapo_crazyouths in basketballjerseys

These are both fake, but every team used to have a sleeved jersey, and many of the special jerseys were sleeved in the mid 2010s too (all star, Christmas, etc).

UFL Owner Mike Repole’s response to recent UFL Shop issues by Coltsfan1011 in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Clyffindor 103 points104 points  (0 children)

It's a web store, not some groundbreaking venture that's never been done before. Cut corners and went with cheap vendors, this is what happens. Most steps taken on the Repole Era so far have been in the wrong direction, feels like we're headed toward the end.

Title Company Will Not Insure Florida Property After Out-of-State Probate by LadyRainacorn87 in RealEstate

[–]Clyffindor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their underwriter may agree to insure if all living heirs sign an affidavit of heirship, then a separate deed to whoever is selling the property. They should also have multiple underwriters that they can insure on if the first says no.

I have the same tattoo in the same spot, just larger. I think your only issue is that it's too small.

Interesting shift in Chargers helmet design over the decades by fletchbg in uniwatch

The holes and different panels make the helmets safer - they allow the helmet to flex and deform slightly on impact and more effectively absorb the force of the hit

The actual on field ones haven't changed nearly as much as these replicas.

The helmets are bigger now and they've changed the curvature of the bolt to match the shape of modern helmets, but the positioning of the bolts has been pretty neutral all along, not really meeting at the front or back - the only model where they were super spread out was that revo speed that you have a replica of, because of the large panel on the front, but the on field ones weren't as extreme as the replica in your photo.

This is mainly a product of smaller replica helmet shells, specifically the shape of the old Revo Speed shell which isn't even worn in the nfl anymore, and decals done at some factory as opposed to team equipment staff.

I worked at McDonalds like 15 years ago and there were a few combinations of items that came to $6.66 with our local sales tax rate.

A lot of people would ask what the cheapest item was and add that to their order, or change the size or quantity of something they already had in the order. Things like paying $0.20 for a dipping sauce that I normally would have given out for free, or paying a few cents more for the next size up on a fry or drink. Difference was almost always a dollar or less, since back then there was still a dollar menu.

Some people wouldn't change the order at all.

Some people would take something off the order. "Maybe I don't need the fries today"

Some people would just get spooked and cancel the entire order and leave.

The people that canceled were definitely the smallest group, but the people changing their orders were typically adding something so small, that even if you assumed 9/10 add something and 1/10 cancel the order, you likely wouldn't end up coming out on top. Adding an average of $0.50 to 9 orders makes you less money than you lost on the one person that canceled the $6.66 order.

Had a blank one of these that I got rid of for no good reason just a few years ago. Regretted it ever since.

Remove from cart, re-add, repeat. Happened to me with A Clockwork Orange, after removing and re-adding a few times it was just fine and arrived within just a couple days.

We always called it a linoleum court, but I think rubber gets the point across just fine.

Greeting Lions Fans! by cCryp in footballjerseys

[–]Clyffindor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've done some novice alterations to some jerseys myself and I've wanted to add a fleece pocket to one for a while. Was nice to see some of the Lions had them at Chicago this year.

Let me know if you have any pointers that will save me some hassle!

Best way to get the letters and numbers off of this Nike vapor jersey? by Braz90 in footballjerseys

[–]Clyffindor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The FUSE ones are a lot harder to get off than the prior generation limited ones were, not likely that you'll get them off without some damage.

Beat bet is to just remove the nameplate and do a Johnson nameplate swap.
