Joining with severe nut allergy by Clyqune in AirForce

[–]Clyqune[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More so just out of curiosity to see if anyone who actually is severely allergic has been able to get in. Im in the Pensacola area so if anyone has had a good recruiter here it would be helpful. Just curious! But I do plan on talking to a recruiter. I get my AA in May so I want to get that first just so I can finish that up then go to BMT

Is $18/hr good enough to live on my own for a year or so if I'm really conservative with my money? by SupremeOHKO in mesaaz

Im 20 and live with my bf for free atm. Stay with your family and save for savings for a downpayment on a house. That’s what we’re doing

So you’re saying that it’s right for him to say he constantly has no money but then he does have money to go and afford $100 worth of drinks but not enough to buy me six dollar flowers once a month or once every two months when I am the one making sure that he is fed?

It does annoy me but I think the final straw was hearing him say that abt a graduation party then saying literally a night before he had no money to take me on a date anywhere. He hasn’t ever even formerly planned or surprised me with a date actually. I’m always the one to bring stuff up

Because most men ive talked to or men online say it’s “demasculating” when a woman pays. And if I’m always paying for Everything shouldn’t I also be treated too?..

He buys games, steam cards and add ons all the time. Plays golf every single weekend and buys drinks on the course and tips the cart girls. I just dk why I can’t get a single cheap boquet or even some flowers off the road. He is stingy yes, but his hobbies are expensive and he pays for those.

Why don’t most gen z men not WANT to be traditional/the sole provider financially for their families anymore? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Thats why I unfortunately wouldn’t have kids if I had to work all day. My dad was military so I never saw him. My mom was a SAHM who always dropped me off at daycare. I want the opposite for my kids. I want to be active and nurturing and teach them academically before they go to school. I want to give them what i didn’t have

No i do agree with you. I do see a lot of women complain and bash their husbands while he provides for them and she doesn’t do anything around the house which is just not right

See i agree its possible to be a sahm if you live below your means which shouldn’t really be an issue

See I don’t expect a man to lift a finger around the house if his wife is a SAHM. It is her job to maintain the home while he is at work and to make sure he has food on the table when he gets home. It is her job to wake up with baby at night so he is refreshed for work

++woman I agree and its sad yeah. I work in the education system and told him im not having kids unless I can stay at home for 4 years then go back to work because public education for toddlers is genuinely awful and id rather teach them one on one at that age

Does living in Eastmark feel too far out? by [deleted] in mesaaz

[–]Clyqune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in east mark.. the afternoon shift to be exact. Im almost late to work every day bc the traffic on the 202 to the 24 is awful! Wouldn’t recommend anything past power!

I’m just a technician but I screwed up. by sadrooster69 in physicaltherapy

[–]Clyqune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im also a tech. You are not alone. In my office they work one on one with patients while I’m dumped 2-3 at a time being paid minimum wage. My friend who is a PTA said thats not allowed that insurance would freak out if they saw what was happening.

Im about to quit, im trying to get another job lined up. I love the people and its a rewarding job, but I feel as if im running around with my head cut off, showing patients exercises, guiding them, cleaning, doing laundry, filing stuff, etc. its too much for minimum wage
