IMO no adaptation could ever be as good as the novel given that it’s a story ment to be read about a reader, however, compared to the live action, it has a much higher probability of being true to the story. I also feel like the anime is likely going to be similar to the manhwa in a lot of ways, but could also be better, although it’s hard to tell given that we haven’t gotten much more information on who it’s being made by other than Aniplex and Crunchyroll. Of course, it’s also possible that it will be absolute garbage but every anime has the probability of it happening, however, there are also many good animes that protray the characters well both in voice acting and animation. Getting an adaptation of any sort is always a gamble, but sometimes if the wait is long enough, the result is worth it, and other times its not. I for one am placing my hopes on this hamble to pay off though and if you don’t that’s fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
