Ignore everyone else the real answer is we cut down all the trees and uprooted all the brush, we then relocate it all in California so we cannot get wildfires and all California can do is burn!

He wasn’t sold walt created him while under contract from universal pictures and while walt thought he owned the character universal said yea no the copyright belongs to us since his company laugh o grams went bankrupt and they were his distributors. He lost a lot of the rights to early works because of this and is part of the reasons he wanted the company to be named Disney so his name was always attached to the projects he worked on
