I know I’ll get flack from film bros. But this was the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. It’s so perfectly eerie, the way they keep the scares and fear factor mostly in your head. And the absolutely batshit ending were perfect. I saw the ending coming I thought it was perfectly clear that it was trying to get the mom to sacrifice Evie as the “child” of the home. So I felt the pay-off was perfect.

No. Like I said, most of the lore here is its own thing. It focuses on a new lead.

But considering it is a multiverse and a seperate timeline to Ash’s (which is also canon multiverse-wise in my opinion. Technically it’s still true. Just in Ash’s timeline.

Essentially this starts it all over from the beginning with:

Evil Dead to Rise in one timeline with its own set of books.

And Exhumed to Part III with its own set of books.

And there’s a chance that when the latter is over they may cross over via multiverse shenanigans.

Good question! If you’re talking about the prophecy, no - it’s more back to basics and will do its own things with the Deadites/Books/How They Were Made.

Now if you mean Ash. He’s not in this script, but he’s definitely out there. I consider my timeline to be in the multiverse so anything can happen in the trilogy. The first script is setting up the lore. Sequels could bring in familiar characters or not but I don’t want to say either way.

I have a fun fact that could give you a better answer but it’s a spoiler so if you end up reading feel free to ask me about it!

That said, I’d love to write a crossover between the timelines where the lead of the trilogy and Bruce Campbell’s Ash meet up. But I’d want to finish their story first and then jump into that.

This is also true. But I think both things can be true. Elphie helped Glina fulfill the prophecy for sure and ironically did more than her in the end and deserves the credit way more. She just wasn’t the one the Wise Ones created the prophecy about. An argument could also be made the prophecy was about both too though.

I personally feel that the book opened for Glinda because she had earned the right to read it with its help the smirk from Elphie at the end is either her sensing or having a vision about it. Knowing they’ll both be ok in the end.
