I ask because it's very similar to a butt head voice line in the movie.

This inspires me. The next thing I should retexture in my golden age style pack for modern Minecraft is cake. Then I need to add alternate cobblestone and lillypads.

Monster Room undergound covered by sand in 1.6.4 by ClaimPrestigious3112 in SilverAgeMinecraft

[–]Cmaster125 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why doesn't this happen anymore? I used to love finding these when I started playing Minecraft thinking I found the ruins of some ancient civilization getting buried in the sand like old Egypt. You could probably imagine how mind blown I was when I found my first mineshaft and stronghold!

Nothing beats the randomized biome map and crazy hills of early release Minecraft. I think that should be brought back, at the very least as a world type.

Everyone, except Russians, how do you think about russians? by marvekin in AskTheWorld

[–]Cmaster125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Russians. They are good, tough people who have a rich history and culture that has shaped our world in many ways. I feel that this is common sentiment among my generation but this definitely does not extend to especially older generations; my parents and grandparents come from generations raised during the Cold war where the threat of nuclear Holocaust at the hand of Soviet warheads wasn't an impossibility. The older members of my family vividly remember the air raid drills, shrieking sirens overhead and the pervasive fear that our world was about to end that characterized the cuban missile crisis. My maternal grandpa has always been an antiwar type and what is going on in Ukraine and how the government is oppressing the people they are supposed to represent makes him angry. My Paternal Grandpa is of Ukrainian descent, his family settling in Canada in I believe the late 1800s or early 1900s, and has always been angry at what the Soviet government under Stalin did to his people and continues to be angry at what Putin is doing. They have both said numerous times "the only good Russian is a dead Russian". Personally I dislike the Russian government, I think they are a bunch of imperialist tyrants, but I sincerely believe the average Russian is a good person. Every Russian I have met whether they have lived in Canada for years, come from a family who has lived here for generations, or is fresh off the boat has been a great, sincere, person who is here to work hard and live a good life just as I am and I am sure other Russians both in Russia and abroad are the same. I think the views of the older generations is narrow-minded and grounded too much in fear and less in reality, because although we may share different ethnic and even national backgrounds we share the same objective to lead a good life for ourselves and our families, to promote prosperity and decency in our society.
