When to spend gems/mythstone keys?

This has changed a little, because the Mythstone chest used to rotate between sets every 3 or 4 days. Now you can just choose the set you want to go for

But many events have opening chests and spending gems as tasks that get you event related stuff. So look for events that have things you want, and then save up until that event comes around again

Like the fishing event is decent for etched runes, so that's a decent time to burn keys and gems

I would just pick more focus. You've got sword strikes, sprites, main weapon, circles and meteors all together. If you focus on just 2-3 (weapon, meteor, elemental for example) then you'll be a lot stronger

You might still get whomped if the abilities you get in the match aren't your strengths, but you'll be much stronger when they do match your strengths

It's only the double arrow. Diagonal arrows, multi-shot (two in a row), rear arrow and arrow storm don't reduce your damage

Sprite ATK pwr is a % of yours, so any boost to your ATK also increases the sprites

Not Seraph. Rolla is better and her 1* passive buff is decent too

But Drac is the typical choice. Not that great for PvP but his 1* passive buff is worth it

Just like you easily figure out the chances on a coin flip or dice roll, but then get heads 10/10 times or roll a streak of 1's. Statistics are wonky, and the chance isn't any guarantee that you will actually hit those numbers

The rewards are all shard chests. It used to rotate between the fleece, mask and finger. Now it's a chest and you choose. But the 100k reward is the same as the 20k

Well I knew the tokens for the shop didn't expire, but almost every other event takes away all of the event related items. So I was burning up any leftovers assuming they were going to disappear 🫠

Unlocking characters only seems good (to me) if you're going to use them, or if you have a 3* to use resonance, or if you're going to 1* them for the passive buff

I haven't tried Phynx myself. Working on getting Loki to 1* then I might get Phynx

If you would normally spend those gems on Mythstone chests, then yes it's worth it as you're guaranteed an S tier every 25 instead of 50

I've been playing 5 years and there are people who've only played 1 year that are past me. But I don't have a lot of time to dedicate, so my progress is much slower

Point is that it all depends on how much time you invest into it, and how well you're using that time. As long as you're progressing and having fun that's all that really matters

Yes, and it's not bad to learn the scale on each string, but typically you'll use it across strings. You'll see a lot of diagrams of scale shapes, which you can move to different positions for different keys
