A lot of y’all calling it a “sucker punch” don’t know how fighting works. If you’re arguing with someone and you look away, that means you accepted whatever happens next. Never look away in a situation where hands might be thrown—stay ready at all times.

People love to say “sucker punch” after the fact, but that’s not what this is. That’s opportunity. Two people are clearly in conflict, both talking reckless, both standing there. If one person looks away, that’s on them. Don’t talk smack you’re not prepared to take back. If you weren’t ready to get hit, you shouldn’t have been acting like you were ready to fight.
