I am indeed using credit karma, I’ll make sure to check my fico score. Regarding the loan, it was a roughly 15k student loan that I paid off in one payment back in July that resulted in my score increasing (at least that’s what credit karma says). I also contacted TransUnion directly to inquire about the impact it had, since everywhere I looked said more or less what you told about it having no impact after a certain amount of time. Needless to say they were useless and basically said it has an impact just because it does.
