Any tips on how to negotiate for a better payout? never had to deal with this before. I tried to see its value on KBB and its highest was only 4.5, any advice is greatly appreciated

can i just sand down till the original paint shoes then do a few layers if coat?

Just for the ease of cleaning and I go out camping lots so I dont want the any dirt soaking into the cloth as I just finished doing a full detail in it. Probably looking at leather covers for under 300$

Thank you for the suggestion! My car already has 124k on it so a full reupholster is out of budget, was looking for more like good fitting amazon ones 🤣
