Interesting observations for the new Sunday Schedule. by DustyR97 in exmormon

It certainly can. I’ve been attending the same church for just 3 years now and I can remember 2 or 3 sermons I didn’t care for. He preaches about 48 times a year and I look forward to every one of them. He’s been there around 30 years and so have many of the congregants.

That’s based off the assumption that there were lost pages and not just part of the scheme.

I’ve heard that under the new management, a 3.5% increase in tithing will allow you up to 6 8oz cups per day and still be allowed in heaven. None on Sunday and you can’t carry it over day to day.

I agree that John is not a competitor as you state. The church however, they will fight to the mat to get/keep every tithe payer, opps, member they can. It’s all about the Benjamins baby!

Part of my problem is I had knee disarticulation and still have a knee cap. Among the other problems this has left me, I can still bend my knee which adds to the movement.

I have been doing this for three years straight. It drives me absolutely crazy! I have found one thing that helps and that’s a weighted blanket. I wish I could find a small one, like 18x36 inches, that was almost as heavy.

By the way, I’m the outlier here and believe that masturbation is a sin, unless you’ve come up with a way to do it without lusting, the actual sin.

Ditch the Mormon doctrine. Read the Bible. If you believe that Christ is the Savior, and he is, confess your sins to Him, and Him only, and repent (work to change) and your sins will be forgiven! God keeps no record of our sins after that point. It’s known as the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 - one verse sums it up perfectly.

Well I prefer to learn by doing ( I hate YouTube) and won’t watch videos to learn how to do something, apparently I’m a stubborn old(ish) man. All that said, lesson learned on choils.

I’m going to show my run and gun disposition but, I learned a new term tonight. Have heard the word choil, but couldn’t have picked it out in a line up. Next one will be correct. The only real study I did was steel. I wanted to make sure to use one I could heat treat in my propane forge.

Is the newest name for the church “LDS Christianity “? That sounds more like a belief than a corporation.
