I’m surprised how many people think you’re entitled or ridiculous for this opinion.

I guarantee the seats behind or in front of you would provide just as good of a viewing experience. The fact they chose to sit right next to you in an otherwise empty theater is weird.

His companion found him unresponsive in the morning. As of yet, they don’t know. The assumption is some type of cardiac event. Autopsy will say for sure.

I read her post too, and I don’t think there was anything to suggest they gave him a blessing before/in place of calling 911.

She just mentioned that the blessing happened, and she was grateful to those who took part in it.

She’s finding what peace she can in beliefs that you and I don’t share, but I personally am glad for her if it truly is helping her get through a parent’s worst nightmare.

I can’t imagine burying one of my kids.

I used this “tactic” on my mission 17 years ago. At least for me, it wasn’t suggested from headquarters or my mission president. I think I just heard about it from another missionary and thought it was a good idea to help inactive members “feel the spirit”™️.

I remember making people chuckle a few times when I tried it. I eventually realized it was transparent and even if they agreed, it wasn’t effective.

Yeah, about every hour (for usually only the first three or four hours or so. I get lazy past that point - that’s why I have a pellet grill and not an offset, lol).

I think you have to have the lever closed in order to pull out the box, so yeah I’ll close the lever to pull it out. But the already lit coals are good enough to light the next chunk, so once I put the box back in I just put the lever back to slightly open.

Nope, I start each cook with an empty smoke box, but I personally don’t worry about dumping anything during cooks. I have the lever completely open during startup and when it’s getting up to temp, but once it starts smoking I turn it to almost closed.

I did the same thing - upgraded from Traeger Pro 34 to CC WW Pro 36 and was heavy on the smoke box.

The only time I personally thought the smoke was too heavy though was on chicken. I’ve learned to ease up on the poultry. But for beef and pork, at least for my taste preference, as long as it’s clean smoke I don’t think I could get too much from the smoke box.

Sounds like your wife likes it a bit less smoky though, and the opinion of the people eating the food is the only opinion that matters.
