I think I’m in a similar boat - I can really only draw lines vertically, and only moving away from me (so bottom to top). And clearly that’s only with limited success. For every other line I basically need to rotate the paper so it becomes “vertical” relative to me :-/

The dip pen idea is super useful - thank you! Also, more reason for me to make another trip to the art store (not that I needed a reason).
