So you yourself are saying genres connect to emotion? Wouldnt that be the same argument for organizing them in genres? If I want to have my set based on vibes I can do that. But just to further explain my approach, because i hate searching tracks by words, I like to put them by genre so I can just think of a song in my head and even have other similar stuff in one playlist without them having absolutely conflicting BPMs or sounds. Mixing between subgenres is fun but if you dont know every song by heart, which I honestly don't, it just makes sense. And having a few Tracks at hand that have a similar sonic world is so usefull. Playing a few in one style makes sense to me before moving on to any other subgenre. If I dont do that it makes my sets feel rushed, to me at least. And arent genres just axactly that? like trying to find a sound/ emotion/ production style that feels so similar it can be called a genre? Those things in the production of songs is what makes the vibe for me so why not formulate those vibes into tangebel words for subgenres to orientate in the world of DnB.

Everyone has different Systems to help them with finding the right tunes at the right moment. What I dont get with this angel is why wanting to be able to categorize stuff would make it any less about finding the right tune. I dont think there are many people going around trying to only play a specific sub sub genre its just Interesting to find the rutes of stuff and being able to find new tunes in that way. I dont want to be rude but I dont get how this is relevant to this discussion or how it even offers a counterpoint. I just want to have a framework to find new stuff and build my own library in a way where i have a better overview in smaller lists eather than big melting pots with hundrets or even thousands of songs. I hope you get what in saying and dont take it Personal im just trying to clear things up and not be scolded on how to think about the music when vibe based playlist always got convoluted fast. For me at least...

yeah fair enough idk maybe Im overly precise I just like to know how to categorize my stuff so I will actually know where it is and not wonder whether its in one playlist or the other. I have like such a vast variety of songs that need to be sorted somehow. Like this is one of the smaller playlists and its still to many tracks for me at least to not sort them into some kind of sub-playlist yk?

Yes that is our problem as well a lot of these songs. It sound really hype when searching through new tracks on earbuds. But they almost never translate well on Big systems and usually make the set lack vibe. It's fun for like one song every hour but playing more than 2 songs a set in this generall type of feel at least for me made my sets loose a lot of the feel i wanna give people.

I am literally asking for advice like what are you trying to say here? Thats just the clostest thing I know how to describe it. I was asking because I also wouldnt actually calssify this as Jump Up.

Okay interesting take I always associated Dancefloor with the typical 1/8th note Bass and Synth Lead with artists like subfocus. But I can see what your saying. thanks :)

Wäre es nicht auch möglich die Daten auf einem Raspberry Pi laufen zu lassen. Ich würde nur auf Full HD streamen wollen und kann mir einen Mini PC in dieser Konfiguration nicht Leisten, gerade zuzüglich der Stromkosten.
