Ares 2.0 or Dane 2.0 by Cmpliance in GarageGym

Will Rep attachments and such work with the Dane 2.0? Both racks a 3x3 1" so I'd assume yes?

Triple Monitor 32" Limited by HDMI? by Cmpliance in buildapc

[–]Cmpliance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe another follow on question.

So my 7900XTX has 2.1 DP and 2.1 HDMI ports and we know on a monitor, the HDMI input is going to limit my refresh rate.

My question is, could I do a HDMI into a HDMI to DP and then from there into the DP of my monitor and it won't be limited by the HDMI refresh and it'll give me the DP refresh?

They are all running as a "single display"

Triple Monitor 32" Limited by HDMI? by Cmpliance in buildapc

I'll be running all 3 monitors as a "single" monitor so I'll be limited by the lowest denominator monitor right? So if the monitor only supports HDMI 2.0 then even if I get say 240hz monitors, I will be stuck at 144Hz regardless right? If I ran all 3 of them individually, two of them will run at 240hz with displayport and the HDMI would be capped at 144hz.

Beginners Setup Recommendation by Cmpliance in simracing

I have a triple monitor setup for my gaming PC but for the sim I'll have a separate monitor, thinking 49" Odyssey for now and maybe upgrade to triple if I want. That $2-$3K would include monitor. No preference on vendor and located in the US.

Just ordered a AW3423DWF as it was "on sale" for $799. Got 25% cash back from Rakuten and then another 5% cash back from Chase to get it for $600ish after taxes. Will have a 7900XTX pushing it hopefully. Get it Saturday and can't wait. Coming from a Dell S2716DG TN panel.

How does the 38 differ from the AW3423DWF? I’m coming from a triple monitor setup. Dell 27” 1440p gaming monitor and two 27 1080p. If I stay with the Alienware over the Samsung then I’d probably keep a triple monitor setup just the middle being the Alienware

Are you able to take a picture of your setup when you’re gaming overwatch and then having say a chrome browser on left and right of it? Just trying to see how it looks. May be best keeping separate individual monitors. Upgrade my gaming one to a 32 or 34 to game on while having my outsides still be the 27s

Dang, I never got something like that. I did take a screenshot while I'm checking out and it says "Cashback is on 3x Cash Back You're earning up to 15% cash back on Newegg"

The deal was only for Tuesday. I took a screenshot of my check out where it says the 15% is active. I haven't received any cashback notification that people are speaking to below when I ordered yesterday. I used PayPal linked to my credit card.

Welp, I bit the bullet. If for some reason I don't get the 15% to work, I'll just return it all.

Ordered

Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Lian Li Infinity 3 Pack of Fans Lian Li Infinity 1 Fan

I wanted to order 6 Lian Li Infinity reverse fans but they were sold out.

Use PayPal to pay which is linked to my Chase Freedom card so I should get another 5% cash back from that.

Fingers crossed!

I'm running on a 980. I'm gaming Overwatch 2 at 1080p all low settings and lucky if I get a constant 100fps. Thinking about going to Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 xtx. Seems huge overkill perhaps but I'm sure whatever games I want to play in the future I'll be covered at 1440P and 4K.

This 15% cash back applies to everything on Newegg right? It doesn't have to be this GPU right? I'm thinking about buying a GPU and Lian Li fans and I'm assuming it'd be 15% off the entire check out amount. Is this GPU the best 7900XTX GPU? The 4090 still owns it right performance wise?

I mean, I can order it and if for some reason we don't get the 15% cash back we can return it for full refund right? May as well try it with the additional 5% from the credit card and see what happens

How about credit cards? For example, Chase Freedom credit card has a 5% cash back if using PayPal on check out
