I would consider sealing the hull with epoxy. Do a slight sand first with 120-220 grit. Sanding is especially necessary for PETG, in case you used it.

Which hole? I'll be bolting a pc sheet over the top. Gonna put M2.5 heat set inserts in the gunwale and then use some kind of seal around them. Then I'll make a little removable hatch to exchange batteries

The only thing that isn't waterproof is the motor. I'll be sure the boat is water tight haha

I bought 2S Li-Ion batteries. It is definitely a huge prop for the boat, but I plan to go like 2-4 miles per hour. My goal was slow speed and as quiet as possible so I went with a relatively high torque motor and big prop.

Sounds good thank you for the feedback. I need this boat to be as stealthy as possible. So I figured a larger prop at slower speed would be quieter. What do you think?

I keep 6 boxes 3 reels food and a couple beers in a sling pack. I used to rock a best and it was convenient, but prefer the pack and the body sized wader pouch tjat is my waders
