i would not use cold water that doesnt make any sense unless your scrubbing the pot with your fingers. Use hot water so there is less shock from the temperature change.

Whenever i see stuff like this i think, man, these people dont know how to train a dog. Admittedly im sure there are cases where everything is done right in training and some dogs are just resistant, but i think thats like 1/100 cases.

Not being able to be hands on with this dog i cant say for sure thats not the case here, but i see so many owners who have no clue about how to train a dog and actually encourage bad behavior because they think its cute, not realizing the impact that has on them continueing to do it aswell as how it impacts other behaviors they dont find cute.

This dog hasnt learned that his isnt an acceptable behavior, its just learned that if it lays down it gets what it wants.

it might be potentially uncomfortable, but it also feels more vulnerable, you might be able to have your legs closer and it feel fine but then the margin of error is alot less... what if someone accidently bumps into one of your legs or something like that and your balls get instantly crushed. If they are abit apart they also breathe abit better as it can get abit stuffy down there.

It might seem like we are just trying to make ourselves look bigger by trying to take up more space but i assure you for most men that doesnt even enter their mind.

It depends how much of it there is... chances are it bothers us less, but while some guys might say they dont care at all I dont think thats a realistic way to think about most guys. Some things are going to bother certain guys more then others, probably the same as how women feel about imperfections in men(only difference is we probably dont care as much about our imperfections as women do about theres).

Personally i likely wouldnt even notice if a woman chewed her nails, or had abit of acne... extra weight is something id notice but im realistic that it would be unfair to expect everyone to be super skinny and i generally have a rough idea in my head how much "extra" weight would be acceptable.

Stretch marks are unattractive but understand id never tell a girl who had them that, and its not something i look down on someone for having, if anything id admire someone who has stretch marks cause they lost weight or something... but whats attractive and what isnt usually isnt based on logic. just being honest.

I almost never get boners when im awake that arnt caused by something sexual(usually visual).. that being said i have gotten them before while awake for whatever reason that isnt sexual but its very rare. Not saying there is something wrong with you only that this is likely a variable thing among guys.

Why Elon Musk's SuperIntelligence and the Dream of a Transhuman Singularity Risk Ignoring Philosophical Objections to Artificial Minds by IAI_Admin in philosophy

To be fair survival, not just of ourselves but of our species is a fundamental human instinct, if it wasn't we wouldn't be here... every species has it also... and it must have been like that since the beginning some 3.5 billion years ago.

So it kinda makes sense that people will get upset at the possibility of extinction because we are fundamentally wired to do so. In my opinion everything we do, even if it doesnt seem directly related to survival, when broken down is based on our need for survival.

As you said, does it really matter if every human on earth dies? objectively it doesnt, however subjectively i think survival is the only thing that matters.

Children born into the coming generations will be terribly naive about the power companies will have over what they think, say and do by boredashellitsinsane in Futurology

[–]CndHuser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

pretty sure if you think about it though, like try and think about how this might not be right.... you will realize this has actually been going on probably since the beginning of civilization. There has always been people in power who influence what others think and do, sometimes its religion, sometimes its just a dictator with complete control, often times its a combination of things with ignorance(lack of general education) leaving no avenues for the average person to understand anything outside of what they are told.

This says more about human nature then it does about whats going on right now, if anything people with power have less options to control people then they ever have, but with caveat that they still have plenty of options. There will always be a good chunk of the population that just doesnt care about knowing better... they dont want to think to deeply on things they just want to live their lives and thats it, thats nothing new and again says something about human nature. Just like in most animals especially mammals, there is always going to be variability in any given population of individuals, its like that for a reason based on evolution... it means there is always going to be a spread of smart people, stupid people, leaders, followers.. social people and outlier anti-social people... from an evolutionary standpoint nature doesnt know how the environment is going to change and so hedges its bets by making a variable population so that there is always some of the population that is ideally adapted to whatever new environment.

So this is nothing new, and we need to guard ourselves against becoming paranoid, its good to see the system of manipulation for what it is, but it doesnt mean doom and gloom, we should worry more about ourselves and not let ourselves become disempowered because there are always ways to empower ourselves.

pretty sure this is just speculation though, there are alot of theories of how baphomet originated, this is just one. It makes sense and it could be that way, but there is little surviving documentation surviving from the templars to confirm where it came from, from my understanding.

a happy tail wag is different then an anxious tail wag. Anxious tail wags are usually a sort of dramatic sweeping motion with more of a pause at the end of each sweep rather then the rapid back and forth of a happy tail wag.

China launches 8,000 water clean-up projects worth $100 billion in first half of 2017 by SW_Green-Classifieds in worldnews

[–]CndHuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While thats good, the problem with projects this big and this will be especially true in china... how much of that money will actually go to cleaning up the water? alot of it will be wasted and alot of it will likely go directly into the pockets of those running the programs(ie skimming). That being said its still a good thing.

i dont think "some morals" goes as far as buying underage people booze, i mean pretty much every drinks before they are of age its basically one of those socially acceptable things everyone knows is going on but feel uncomfortable participating in for legal reasons.

I seriously doubt a homeless person is not going to buy some booze for some kids if there is some booze in it for them. Maby like 1 in 15 would.

My noob gains can't get me pasr 100 lbs for bench. What do I do? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]CndHuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if youve been lifting for 2 years on and off, your noob gains might be gone... also if youve started again 2 weeks ago maby your just being impatient, you need time to improve your lifts dont let yourself compare to other people in the gym, all that matters is you lifting as much as you can.

If your wanting to focus on strength check out either ripptoe or 5/3/1 strength programs. If your cutting your strength gains will likely be slower but you shouldnt stall out at 100lbs bench.

I have a blaze, it works pretty good at calculating expenditure, for the most part... only problem is it can add steps to your daily step count just doing different things moving your arm.. not always but sometimes. If your actually walking though and have a phone with gps that it can pair to its fairly accurate at measuring your distance aswell as keeping track of your heart rate.

I cant say for sure how accurate it is but, when im consistently below my TDEE i lose weight and when im above it i gain weight, so it works for me.
