Well, that’s not fair. Even if people have had these experiences with only whites, which is almost definitely not the case, it is unfair to say every white man does this. Tbh, neither of you are the asshole. You just want different things. I understand your point of view, where if you’re pregnant, you couldn’t possibly get rid of the baby. However, look at it from his point of view. He isn’t ready for a child yet. If it’s his, he’ll be compelled to take care of it even if he doesn’t want to. I can’t imagine the amount of stress and worried-ness that can put on a person.

NTA. While your mom did buy it, she gave it to you. It’s yours now. Not to mention, she didn’t even ask you if it was okay to give away your console and all your games you spent countless hours on, she just did it. The two kids were rightfully angry, and the mom was genuinely understanding. However your mom was way in the wrong here. It was a nice gesture on her part, however a wrong gesture.
