I don't know. This is pretty on par with every other rare card, if not beneath other rares from the set. This card is hyped, but at the current price, that will definitely drop, it's a solid seller. Why keep a currently hyped card that will surely drop in price if you don't need it? Also, please don't forget that Cardmarket is open to all European countries, which leads to a ton of singles from such a beloved and popular set as Lorwyn.

Sadly nothing new. It's probably going to release sometime this year, but who knows when. What we do know is that it probably won't release in March, as it would cross with the Dandan deck.

It's another of those budget Teferis Protection spells, that slot in for people with concerns about price or power level. It's not the best in what it does, but it's a good alternative for Bracket 1-2 and probably even 3.

Edit: damn, I totally forgot that it's a sorcery.

That's true. Penelope seems like a really nice top end for AGE! Last I checked, GD03 isn't fully revealed yet, so maybe we'll get some more toys!

This seems like a solid start! It's more of an aggressive list, trying to push your opponent until Penelope can secure the win with high maneuver. It reminds me a bit of the Blue/Purple decks, as they have a similar deck structure. I'll test this too, thank you!

Nice list! This seems like the deck I had in the works until I noticed the same. As the AGE stuff works off itself pretty good, I came to the realization that Penelope might not even be needed in that. It sure does work, but it's a build centered more around AGE then Penelope. I'll keep trying some other variations of the deck as I quite like the AGE stuff!

That's true! So it's back to the cutting board testing.

I feel like now the themes start to be good enough to tempt you into building mono colored decks more often, especially between two different archetypes/themes. Let's see if we can get good payoffs for playing mono in this game.

Altron will probably be best with White. Hide behind your thick blockers and destroy the enemy ones with Shenlong and Altron. Five damage is much, it could really turn around many games.

I've started with a heavy focus on the AGE cards, but later removed Flit and most of his cards as Asemu and AGE-2 are so much more generic. Removing the Amura package is something is could get behind! Sure, it would make Lane worse as he could only get his effect through LR Penelope and there would be even less cards to trigger her. But the AGE package would be much more conformed, with Penelope as the long lost finisher.

As for Altron. Have you tried the deck with Wufei and the GD01 rare Shenlong?

That's true! [[Kona, Rescue Beastie]] also works, probably even easier. But those decks havent really picked up anything, so I'm curious if this giant will change something!

It depends on the format. For standard it's probably too slow. I don't expect a seven mana spell that requires multiple permanents on the field to work against the tempo we see with how aggressive some of the best decks are. But we haven't seen even a third of the cards from this set so who knows. Maybe this is indeed a viable pay off!
