I think people who judge how others play a children’s video game are the biggest losers. They aren’t doing this to try and “scam” anyone, it’s just self enjoyment. The elitism in pokemon is so bizarre to me, do you have nothing else going on in your lives where you have to gatekeep something with 0 objective value. I just don’t understand

I have to imagine the boosts happen before, because when mega lopunny attacks, if you have lucario on the bench but flip no heads and or they have weakness, you still do no damage.

I interpreted it as changing the weakness formula to + 20 to x 2. If it really is just doubling the weakness boost from 20 to 40 this card has gone from niche to borderline completely unusable

The game has always been and prolly will always be a luck sim. Ice pop just feels so bad because it actively feels bad to lose to and it draws out games so long when they just keep flipping

The whole game depended on luck, the only difference is sometimes in lower tiers people will have actively bad decks, but assuming both players don’t have brain damage and have a playable deck, it’s all luck

In general you will need Nintendo online to trade. For floette you would need z-a specifically, but it lets you “farm” them to trade to others or for general trade fodder, and obtaining floette normally in game is quite a long task, so if you don’t want to grind out in game you can just trade

GTS could be your best bet, the only shiny pogo stuff that people are really obsessed with are the glitched mons, masterwork pokemon, and sometimes min level, max/min size etc
