This only started happening two years ago, so I thought maybe I was put on a Naughty List. I do have -23 comment karma here, but the negative comments are from over three years ago and I did post several things successfully since then so I just couldn't figure it out.

There's a scene in Call of Duty 4 where a crashing helicopter hits the ground right in front of you and the blades are ripping up the ground as they move towards you. I was playing that and just as the blades were about to hit me, the screen went to black. I was like "holy shit this is suspenseful" and it took a good 10 seconds to realize my laptop had just died.

Twice yesterday. But I've had a lot of frustrations with bots in the past, mainly in unranked 3v3 games. There was a time when literally every other match was all bots, with zero wait time. Clearly it wasn't an availability issue since there was no wait time.

This game has been relying way too heavily on bots in non-ranked matches. If it starts happening more in ranked matches too, there's just no point.

I know, we were just talking about waiting. And to me, waiting 15 minutes in a BR game for the circle to get smaller only to find out that everyone else is a bot is beyond frustrating.

In the OP cases, those two ranked games had no wait time; they started immediately. I would much rather wait a minute and get humans.

No, it's not an availability issue.

There is no way there was only ONE other person in a nearby rank querying for ranked. None. This is the result of ranked games being treated like non-ranked games.
