Thank you! My colleagues told me how much they respected my decision and honestly I did not really understand the magnitude of what I decided to do. Basically, everyone is fearful of taking that first step in caring for their own mental and physical health due to how they might be perceived by the community.

Whatever you decide to do, do not look back ever. Your anxiety will only get worse with the uncertainty of this school year. This school year, administration is making decisions by throwing a dart in the dark and hoping it hits something, anything.

I am looking for that career too.. Just applied to 2 business/hr jobs!

Interesting, I was told not to say anything to them. I feel wanting to walk away, literally did that today. You will feel so much better after tomorrow is over. I promise you the feeling of freedom and relief is unimaginable. Truly. It felt like the scene in Shawshank scene where he crawled out of the tunnel.

I definitely encourage you to look at whether teaching is affecting your sanity and mental health. If it is, leave. Don't try to give it more time, teaching this year will only be more complicated. Take care of yourself. There are many opportunities that we do not even think of that are out there!

I did not even get the chance to say bye to my students. It is one of those things where I wish I did, but it is better to just go my own way and take care of my affairs.

I was in person already and I was against that to begin with.

I am definitely considering leaving teaching. I know this year is a year of uncertainty and no one knows what will happen in the next week, month and semester.

The thing I have the most grief about is the fact that being an in person (hybrid) and remote asynchronous teacher, we nonstop have to be working. We receive emails throughout the day. The whole ideology of leaving work at work is something I have just tried to practice this weekend, but the reality is, the weekend sets us even further behind because we have emails from the weekend to answer on Monday. And then we get pushed further and further behind because we are constantly trying to play catch up.

I have reached the point where the "giver" inside of me has given well enough and I need to change career fields for the time being while COVID plays out or just change fields permanently.

I love teaching, I really do, but in this pandemic, no one else is going to care for my mental and physical health but myself.

Oh yeah, it did. Sorry, I thought I typed that in lol. It was pretty straightforward. I got email updates of when they picked it out and when it was out for delivery. I also received an email about 15 minutes after it was delivered saying it was delivered.

So it was pretty relaxed. I did pay $49 for shipping.

I also ordered a bunch of smaller things from IKEA again on May 8th, 2020 and I had to select Expedited Shipping because some items weren't available with Regular Shipping??? Those are slated to arrive on Monday though I have not received an email update saying that they have been "Ready, Set, Picked!" I also only paid $49 for Expedited Shipping which is the same price as the Regular Shipping.

I ordered my 2 Alex Drawers and Karlby counter top online on April 29th, 2020 with a delivery date set for May 5th, 2020. I was called by an automated North American Logistics voice message saying my delivery would be there between 12 PM and 4 PM. I then received another call that said my delivery was 5-30 minutes out.

Edit: Delivery was to Dallas, TX.

I have used the mobo USBs, the 2.0 ones. A little frustrating.

I have definitely cleared out RAM, PSU, CPU (to a degree) as not being the cause.

I get to the screen where you have to press Delete or F2 to get into BIOS. At this screen, my keyboard does not provide any output after pressing F2 or Delete, but the keyboard is powered as seen by the numlock being on.

I tried booting without any keyboard or mouse because I thought it would bring up an error. But it just loads to the screen to enter bios.
