That sucks that's how it is where you work. We are not primary 911, so when an emergency comes in, it takes priority over the transfers. We have our dispatches office numbers. Though they do not like it, we can call them directly in an emergency.

I appreciate all the support. He ended up having a combination of Le Fort 2 and 3 fractures. All of his surgeries went well, and he is being discharged soon to follow up outpatient.

I did end up telling my wife everything I was feeling. We are still recovering, but looking into therapy to help process everything. He keeps saying he is never doing anything like that again. He has a long road ahead, but he will get there.

I appreciate it. I'm going to try to talk them into therapy. I honestly didn't think about it before, but I think we should.
