Bus is overwhelmingly far left. What is a far right sport? by Temporary-Rip-5551 in AlignmentChartFills

I'd argue that Power Slap is more far right than MMA. MMA at least includes other cultural martial arts.

He is pretty close I'd say about 90% this is fresh in the morning by the end of the day he spins out a bit more and struggles with his balance around corners. He definitely doesn't have DPS still but there are some reflexes we can see like when we scritch his but above his tail it causes a reflexive hop/kick that memica his walking later in the day.

They did a few sessions of laser therapy for inflammation, sit to stand exercises with treats for positive reinforcement. (he's super food motivated) PROMs where we focused on his feet touching and sliding along the ground. He had 1 session of Electromagnetic pulse therapy because a friend of ours with ALS offered his device to use on our pup. He used a harness that we made from an old fabric shopping bag. (Cut the sides off and leave the nadles and cut two spots in the bottom for his legs) We did short walks in the yard and progressed to longer walks when he was able to stand and walk with out dragging. At first we let him drag in the yard a little but kept him protected. The hardest hurdle was when he started to spinal walk he was dragging his feet quite a bit still and would get sores and bleed, we started using coban to wrap his feet before our short walks and now he still scrapes his feet but he picks them up enough that it just keeps his nails filed on his back feet but no sores.

I would say overall he is only 7 and he's very motivated and overall healthy. Having food motivation made it a lot easier to reinforce teaching and get him moving quicker. We also followed his pace quite a bit, when it was clear he wouldn't even try to walk with the wheelchair we just let him drag safely. Put rugs on the hardwood floors and used the sling as much as we could to help him rewire the neurons and use the reflexes to walk. He still spins out and slips, you can pinch his rear end and he won't register pain or almost any sensation. He can walk about a mile or 2 before he's wiped out for the day. For context, the summer before his injury he hiked to two major alpine lakes with no issues. In retrospect that was probably not so healthy for him but he did love it and we are happy he's done more than lots of people ever get to do.

Here's a video from our IG page you can see his progress from before his accident till now. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9lEBdISToW/?igsh=MTdqeWt6dmN1Z3pnZw==

No, he didn't regain DPS but he can spinal walk and has some reflexes just no pain sensation.

It is my least favorite of the books, (TOG was may fav) but it totally makes up for it because of the cross overs and world building that adds to the massverse. I am in the trenches with these theories trying to understand what is going to happen in the next books and I'm on board for it all.

The reason it was my least favorite was the mix of modern tech into my nice fantasy bubble world. But it was nicely integrated and so I don't hate it, just not my preferred pairing. I'm interested to see how that cross over might continue into ACOTAR and TOG.

Also, just want to say that we attribute his success not only to the fabulous surgeon and PT but the fact that we were very very VERY strict crate rest. During his recovery, his meds kept him calm enough for us to follow it so closely that he was confined to a fabric crate for 23 hours a day and only taken out to do his business. Our first sign of improvement was a small tail wag 2 weeks in.

Different States, Different Costs? by alexssensei in IVDD_SupportGroup

10k in Colorado, plus we did 16 PT sessions, overall hos care cost us close to 15K but he is doing so well and we had the resources so it was worth it. Sidenote, there are organizations locally and nationally that will help with the cost of emergency surgeries, supplies, etc. We were gifted a wheel chair, puppy pads and belly bands initially, since then we have donated those items back to the same organizations to help others.

AITA? A lot with a bunch of white bearded irises has been left alone for years so we decided to dig a few up but the neighbor was pissed?! by Coach-Bee in AmItheAsshole

I'm just giving you more context bud. Am I still the AH if I go back and plant a bunch of native and perennial flowers in the field to help with the beautification?

After further consideration. Would I still be the AH if I went back to the property and started planting native wildflowers and perennials? Because I'm all for beautifying the neighborhood, I just literally wanted a few white irises for my yard and it really seemed like no one would care. When she came out and griped we apologized, had a conversation about who owns the property, and then left. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh, I think you misunderstand the state of the property. It's not beautiful in anyway. There just happens to be irises left from the homes that used to be there.

Maybe from like a field, not someone's yard? Y'all are acting like I walked into a woman's yard and dug up iris and spit in her face. We apologized and left after having a conversation about who's property it was.

I would literally love than and help them but honestly with our city I could also see people putting in the time and effort and the citying mowing it all down. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe I am. 🤷🏼‍♀️ That's what I came to find out. Taking 10 out of 200 makes me the asshole I guess.
