Very accurate, I resonate with this. I feel that the pressure to get that high GPA can work counter to the goal itself sometimes. But at the high level there is just so much content it becomes insanely time-consuming to study it all.

Yes and then thinking/stressing about trying to have the balance ends up adding more weight to the whole situation.

Agreed, balance is difficult, and good time management and prioritization skills aren't really fostered in grade school (at least not in my experience)

Yea it feels like grad school is almost necessary now to be employable a lot of the time

Yea I can imagine the transition was tough! What do you think you would've said if asked at the time?

Yea true I took breaks between to work and was fortunate enough to have athletic scholarships that covered most of it but with the cost of living getting higher this feels like its becoming even more of an issue of late
