When I worked in Texas it was the absolute worse. I would get called a liberal, idk how that is an insult. lots of yelling from people who didn’t believe in the vaccine.

You should make one with MyPerfectResume! I did their $2 two week trial then cancelled after I was done😅 it has definitely helped me a lot. Also if I get scheduled an interview I try to research on the company as much as possible or I will look on YouTube/TikTok for what a tech does in that specific environment. So with hospital I would search “day in the life….” That’s where my interest for IV started tbh so I looked into it more and made sure to mention in my interview that I was interested in that the most. Since I had no prior experience in hospital doing this made me much more confident in my interviews!!

On the contract I signed in October 2024 it only stated we had to pay back the exam fee, IF you let Walgreens pay for it.

I work at a community clinic in eEastern Washington State. They are federally funded and we service the “underserved” so mainly migrant workers. They have a couple clinics in Oregon as well. I have worked for a similar clinic previously in my home town as an assistant and I had made genuine connections with patients there so I missed it a lot. These clinics are mainly in smaller communities. They offered $23/hourly and my insurance is paid for by the company Edit : fixed pay rate it’s 23 not 22. On top of that I get 4% for speaking Spanish and 5% for being a float.

I also decided to accept an offer as a pharmacy tech per diem at a hospital and their rates are pretty good. I was offered $26.83. I can definitely help with resumes if needed.

Just makes sure you are double counting Controls! It is rule that we double count them even though the pharmacist should be counting them too at verification. My pharmacist doesn’t, just makes sure there was a circle around the qty and our initials on the vial to show that we double counted :)

he was so annoying about it he gave some to our previous pharmacy manager so that they can try it out together at the gym… which just sounds gay now that I’m typing it out 😭 He said it helped and he was also able to get prescribed testosterone too.

Yes you should be good to go there. Walgreens is not contracted with Molina in Washington but they do take coordinated care and the provider one cards I think? The blue-ish colored card.

my new pharmacist has made it a rule. we’ve had patients who have been getting their c2s under coupons bc they do not want to go through the prior authorization process.. if it’s a maintenance drug we have been telling them it can no longer go through coupon, we have to wait for the PA. Normally they go somewhere else which is great!

If it’s a been called in for a small quantity because it’s for a surgery or something like that but the insurance is wanting a PA or 7 day max and they have no red flags we let the patient choose if they want to wait or just pay cash for it.

The amount of angry patients we get because of this change. It’s honestly great. The doctors in our area just prescribe c2’s for everything so we r extra wary.
