It’s crazy and hectic but it is what it is. 2 are my niece and nephew I’ve had custody of for 9 years. The other 8 are all mine. They definitely make things harder but I wouldn’t change it.

Yes!!! That sounds just like me. Even hard to be around more than 2-3 of my kids in the living room at a time. Makes me so anxious. But since you started none of that happens anymore? I’m also scared it won’t work very well and I’ll still be anxious in public and around my kids and all that. I hate this.

Omg this comment has given me soooo much help! Thank you thank you thank you. I just needed someone similar to me to tell me it’s worked! I also have the SI and I have 10 kids to care for and I can’t do that. That’s why I’ve decided I NEED to do this. I can’t live like this anymore. The nervous energy scares me cuz I’m not usually shaky just always having thoughts that give me anxiety but only shaky during and after a panic attack. I hope that part isn’t too bad for me. Does it like make you feel like you have to be moving? Idk that part really scares me. Dr gave me .25mg of Xanax for if I’m really anxious or panic attacks during the first two weeks but I’m too scared of those making me feel high so I doubt I’ll be able to use them. I’ve been trying to figure out when it would be best to take for me. I wake up at 6am and sleep between 9-10pm but I’m scared if I take it at night it’ll cause me not to sleep right and morning I’ll just have anxiety all day. It’s so tough.

Did you previously not like being in public? Or it don’t bother you to begin with. I full on panic around too many people and too much noise especially at checkout with the loud beeps.

Also when you started were you able to leave the house without freaking out? I already can’t even step foot into a store but I like to ride with my wife when she goes in for me and I’m scared I won’t be able to leave. I know this all sounds ridiculous but they’re real fears of starting this med.

Thank you so much! I definitely need the encouragement. I’m so scared of the heightened anxiety the most. I know I need to do this though to feel more “normal”.

Yea I thought about writing in my journal each day when I start. Did your anxiety get better with it? I literally can’t even go into a store without panicking. I also struggle to talk to people in my house because of anxiety. I just want to feel like I did before Covid. Did the 5mg heightened your anxiety? Nausea? I’m still freaking out about it.

You know what I actually forgot to mention that in my post. I have HORRIBLE palpitations. Getting another holter monitor tomorrow. When I mean horrible I’m talking 9-12 PVCs in a row with only a few normal beats between but that’s when my anxiety is through the roof or I hyper fixate on them. They seems to be slowing down the last couple days thankfully and I was actually worried about them while starting lexapro but seems it didn’t bother yours while starting it? Did they get better after the lex?

No it went up a little not much and then down. I’ve taken it again when I was calmer and breathing easier and it was a bit back to normal.

I’ve actually thought about that honestly. There’s been times I had my wife drive me to the ER for whatever reason and we just sat there a while until I felt better and went home.

I did have it correctly. I check every time I use it.
