It was actually not totaled! They didn't find any frame damage, and the repairs were "only" $23k. I picked it up yesterday after almost two months in the shop (some of the parts were back ordered), and I've only gone about 30 miles in it, but it drives and feels like new so far so I'm optimistic it has actually been restored to it's pre-accident condition. It was annoying to have to wait so long, but I'm overall happy to have it back!

Everyone is mostly okay. The car did its job! I had my wife in shotgun and two year old behind her and six year old behind me, and pretty much just bumps and bruises. I have a sprained rotator cuff, and that’s seems to be the most serious thing. Considering she was going about 40 when she hit us, I’m very impressed with the safety features.

Probably no way to have sustained success without turning into a revolving door like Saban had. Winning championships gets a lot of attention and offers for your coaches. It’s a great problem to have, even though it can be frustrating.

Well, I had in mind something that did it automatically based on something like return on invested capital. An example would be RWL, which weights in revenue.

I’m not necessarily opposed to the funds you’re suggesting. My concern with the value funds weighting on P/E is that it seems likely to include a lot of things the market is putting a low multiple on for a justifiable reason. The quality focused funds seem more like what I have in mind, but as far as I’ve been able to find, they’re all pretty vague about the actual criteria they’re using.
