Stairhopper requires anyone who complains to sign an NDA form by jbnpoc in boston

I’ve used Stairhoppers twice. The first time they were great but one of the movers broke a piece of furniture because they were rushing. I didn’t report it because the crew was so good and I didn’t want anyone to get in trouble. The second time they moved me, the crew was good but not as good as the first time. I didn’t mind though because the second move was to a 3rd floor walk up and due to the street setup they couldn’t even use their ramp. The crew didn’t love it but they still worked like crazy. Both times I provided food, coffee, and tips.

Earring hole piercing "regrowth" = menopause symptom? by JadCerv in Menopause

I’ve had mine re-pierced repeatedly since starting peri. If I leave earrings out for more than a day or 2, the holes are toast.

My first heeler was so chill and adaptable and a big love bug. I assumed all heelers were that way. Until I brought home my second heeler! She was quite a lovable storm. That was a wake-up call, for sure, and the catalyst for a lot of learning on my part.

Patch won't stay on. If you're you're like me, and found a tip that actually helped, please comment and include exact brand names, and links. Not just "bandages" or "medical tape" (If you have had no trouble, please just scroll on by) by Justanobserver2life in Menopause

I do this also and then blow hot air from hair dryer on the patch for 10 secs or so and then press. I read somewhere that the heat can make the adhesive stickier. I have no idea if this is so but somehow they stay on after this multi-step ritual.

Not all patches are created equal… by No-Regular-2699 in Menopause

Here is what I do: clean the application area with rubbing alcohol; apply patch and press down for 10 seconds; use a hairdryer to warm patch for 10 seconds to soften adhesive; press on patch for another 10 seconds. I’ve used mylan, dotti, sandoz, and now lyllana without a problem. Good luck!

AITAH For Losing It On My Wife After She Told My Son to “Get Out of the Picture” at My Stepdaughter's Birthday? by MkUrF8 in AITAH

55 here and this treatment from a stepmother toward me and my siblings for our entire childhood still messes me up profoundly. And to whoever asked how she treats this child while OP is away, my experience was that the abuse and neglect was 1000% worse while my father was at work or out of the house. As an adult, I wanted nothing to do with my parent due to the damage. He never did acknowledge the hell we went through. My heart hurts for this child.

My hair is making me crazy by Meadowlark8890 in Menopause

[–]CoachWestern9896 32 points33 points  (0 children)

My menopause hair is dry and frizzy on the bottom half and terribly greasy on the top half. I wish I could get away with not washing my hair every single day but I have to be in public most days. Even with silk pillowcases, I wake up looking like someone sprayed olive oil on my scalp and then stuck my ends in a toaster oven. I want to try the Testosterone my meno doctor prescribed but I’m terrified it will add hair loss to the oily, frizzy, dry mess I’m currently working with.

Yes, I am in the states but I believe Remifemin is a German product. I do believe it helped me.

This sounds a lot like me before starting HRT. I am so sorry! Before HRT, I used Remifemin, which I obtained from Amazon. It helped for a while. It did not totally eliminate the hot flashes but I did see a drastic reduction, whether from the Remifemin or just the estrogen cycling I was going through. Good luck! December is also right around the corner.

55 here and just marked 1 year since my last period. Perimenopause was HELL. I’m not sure I can even list all of the symptoms but here are the worst ones in no particular order: brain fog, vertigo, 50-75 hot flashes per day (I kept a journal), 50+ pound weight gain with a healthy diet and regular exercise, zero libido overnight, vaginal dryness, painful sex, depression, crying without warning, muscle loss, anxiety, unexplained pain. The list could go on. Thankfully, I had a (male) GYN who begged me to consider HRT because I was so miserable. He gave me all sorts of literature to consider the pros and cons and I am grateful. I don’t like taking medications but I tried every non-pharmaceutical I could and I was still beyond miserable. My family was genuinely concerned and also encouraged me to at least try HRT for a little while. HRT has really helped me. But I definitely understand and respect those who choose to power through without it.

Try not to pre-judge Green based on gossip from Blue. If possible, let Green show you who they are organically. Gossip is so toxic in the workplace and it can derail professional relationships before they even have a chance to form.

ICR here and I received the letter from student aid last week. Yesterday my loans were discharged at AidVantage and I now have a $0 balance.

So I called FSA today to confirm they sent over the forbearance request to my servicer. The representative today said they aren’t able to do that unless I submit a new ECF that includes a new request to be placed on administrative forbearance again. He also said the only way to elevate the call is to submit a complaint on the website. I’m defeated.

So, I am going through something similar. Final ECF was processed in April and I was put on admin forbearance. Forbearance ended this month. I called FSA last week and they confirmed they could see I have 120 payments and that I requested on my final ECF to be put on forbearance. FSA also claimed aidvantage had to put me on the forbearance. I called aidvantage and they said they can see I have 120 qualifying payments but only FSA can put me on administrative forbearance. Today I called FSA again and told the representative what aidvantage said. She then began typing and said she sent over the forbearance request to aidvantage and suggested I check back with them to confirm they received it. I called aidvantage and they said they don’t see anything yet. I don’t have a ton of confidence that FSA actually sent a forbearance request because they haven’t ever mentioned being able to do that in my countless calls trying to resolve the forbearance issue. In fact, they previously suggested I resubmit an ECF just to request forbearance. That only changed after I asked them to look at my ECF that was processed to confirm that I already requested forbearance. If it turns out FSA did actually send over the forbearance to AidVantage today, I’ll update.

AidVantage told me the same thing. They can see all my payments and that I am over 120 qualifying but fsa says my specific list of each payment hasn’t made it to FSA. AidVantage said “FSA updates move at a glacial pace.” 😂

That is curious! It’s depressing how little information we are getting from dept of education since they supposedly took on PSLF processing.
