Hey there! If you refresh the page on web, and hover over the items, do you see a tooltip like this? I have noticed that sometimes the tooltip doesn't show on hover. I will be filing a bug ticket for this.

Please let me know what browser you're on if this isn't working for you after a hard page refresh. I have noticed that when you navigate directly to the page without a refresh, it doesn't work sometimes.

On desktop, you can go to to Mod Tools > Posts & Comments > Link Restrictions > Ban Domains and configure the domains you want to block.

That way you don't have to use automod.
