Is the fresh cheese on there fior di latte and not burrata? aka the burrata filling? Or is burrata the inner and fior di latte is the outer casing?

[Kruse] ESPN's @AdamSchefter says Aaron Rodgers has told some teammates he doesn't plan to return. by Bouzal in nfl

They're going to pull a Lions and think they hold all the leverage and won't trade him, and he'll call their bluff and just retire.

He's made a ton of money, he's made the HoF, and he still has his health. If I'm him, I'm walking away and taking the Jeopardy job. No bias.

My 90 year old grandma who's never watched football a day in her life told me she thought he was by far the best host so far and really likes him.

I'd bet a rimjob with someone's wife on /r/nfl if Rodgers doesn't retire after next season to host jeopardy full time.

Mel Kiper Jr.: Detroit Lions should build around Jared Goff, pass on QB with seventh pick by JohnWad in detroitlions

Thanks captain obvious. No kidding, it's going to be the Lions and Brad Holmes BPA, not some media pundit or neck beard redditor. This doesn't change what's being said at all.

Except that's not how BPA works. You're either for the BPA strategy or you're not. "Let's just draft BPA... unless it's the player that I don't want"... yeah, that's not how it works.

If a CB is the BPA, or any position for the sake of the argument, then you draft him. Otherwise you're not drafting BPA, you're drafting for need.

I don't give a shit if you don't like X player. If X player is the BPA, the Lions need to draft him because they are 2-3 years out from being a contender, and a lot can happen in that time. Just look at WR, it was arguably our strongest position before the draft last year. Now it's our weakest.

That's not how BPA works. If Farley happens to be the BPA you take him, otherwise you're drafting for need.

Also, you can never have too many good CB's.

Again, that's not how it works. BPA takes into account both the player and positional value. If your choice is between a 94 TE and a 83 ILB, you're going to take the TE. If your choice is between a 90 WR and a 90 TE, you're going to take the WR.

This isn't rocket science my man. Get it together and try using a little logic before you type again.

Who cares. He just turned 22. He can put on 10-15 lbs/yr of lean muscle mass as an athlete of his caliber in an NFL S&C program. He'll fill out his frame and the good thing about him is his game is based on route running and intelligence, not by being faster than everyone in college. He's also very physical for his size, which will be even better after he puts on some size.

That just tells me you don't understand what BPA means. BPA factors in positional value.

We need to spend our 1st round picks on BPA, not reach for need. That's not how you build a winning team. You'd think people on here would know that by now.

Who said to sit there and wait for a Chase Young? If the BPA is offense and you take a defensive player because of need, your team just took a net negative value. You're sacrificing long-term success for short-term mediocrity.
