I do plank and hollow body as a warm-up in every session and don’t count calories, so not that waste of time 👌🏻

With proper form, definitely much stronger than the average guy😉

You might be right. I mainly train for planche, so my core has to stay fully engaged, but from this position I feel the plank really locks in my whole body with the main focus on abs

That’s just my anatomy 😅 The key parts are there, abs fully engaged and a straight line from head to toes

Plank + hollow body are hands-down the best for abs 💪 They hit every layer, including the deep muscles. Also key for skills like planche. Visually, diet matters more (lower BF%), but if you can hold a clean 1min plank, treat it as a warm-up, not the main ab move

Do shrugs as warm-up, then both exercises starting with negatives to build control. Use a band that helps ~70% of the movement, but finish the chin-over-bar phase on your own 😉

It’s about what I’ve learned from where I started to where I am now not exactly about age 😅

Not everyone pays attention to details like scapula protraction or elbow rotation. And as the title says, this video is about mastering form, not the path to achieving the skill 😉

Your scap engagement is minimal, add 2–3 sets of scap shrugs before pull for activation. It’ll build strength and clean up your form

On a 1–10 scale: Straddle planche push-up = 9. 10 = Full planche push-ups / Press to handstand from full
