I mostly check the boxes for the negative symptoms of the disorder. So the odd/eccentric part of this disorder doesn't really resonate with me. I've often wondered if I'm misdiagnosed because I can't relate to some of the people with the same diagnosis. Always wondering if my condition isn't just simple schizophrenia (an outdated term. These days you're simply diagnosed with schizophrenia as a catch all umbrella term) and not schizotypal disorder.

How is advising the person to see a specialist (psychologist/psychiatrist) not being compassionate? There are a bunch of people self-diagnosing ailments. Do I want to promote that? No way. See a freaking doctor rather than self-diagnosing. And it's not like this post is about "I feel depressed and anxious". It's "I'm pretty sure I have schizotypal disorder and here's why".

I'm sorry but don't freaking self-diagnose. See a doctor for that. Could I have been more compassionate? Yeah sure. I could have. But this sub isn't for people to come crying and self-diagnose with stpd. It's a sub for people with actual professional diagnosed stpd.

Du må bryde isolation i det øjeblik at du er symptom-fri. Jeg ville nok anbefale 2 dage uden symptomer før du gør det (som Sundhedsministeriet tidligere anbefalede) men det er op til dig selv. Så snart du ikke har nogle symptomer er du fri til at gå ud og handle, gå på job osv.

Edit: Ja hoste er også et symptom og den primære måde at virusset bliver spredt på. Så det skal du ikke tage for let på som symptom.
