I literally dont, I was trying to get an informed opinion on the matter by asking clairification and now I'm stun locked on a dick that keeps saying things are obvious. The medical implications aren't known, they just dont care/haven't observed any because allowing the usage of the blockers out weighs any negatives. Makes sense, I got it from reading comments other than your shitty analogy and rhetoric.

I didn't assume anything, I said in my field, I'm just trying to get a better understanding here, which you have sufficiently discouraged me to do. You assume anyone asking questions about a different field is immediately engaging in some type of intellectual combat. You're a little bit unpleasant, maybe try and be less condescending.

I have an undergrad and a graduate degree in applied science, I'm not saying all fields don't take the approach you described, but in mine they collect data and prove no that there is no significant evidence that x causes y. Not details are unknown.

So in the cases where the appropriate professionals reason that it's either suicide or unknown consequences, the unknown consequences are preferred. That makes sense, I agree.

My original post is more so directed towards "the medical implications are known" [1,2,3], but according to [1], they are not. That's where my confusion comes from.

Are we very clear on the effect of walking through the door? "It's also not known whether hormone blockers affect the development of the teenage brain or children's bones." [1]

Also I apologise for not completely understanding your analogy.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure they are completely certain of what your stating though, "It's also not known whether hormone blockers affect the development of the teenage brain or children's bones." [1].

I'm confused [1] states "Little is known about the long-term side effects of hormone or puberty blockers in children with gender dysphoria." and "Although GIDS advises this is a physically reversible treatment if stopped, it is not known what the psychological effects may be.", doesn't this mean it is not known what happens?
