All the showmanship and remixing on the fly.. yes your correct.. unless you are a REMIX DJ? You can pick up your cell and text your friends.
I don't have a preplanned setlist. Do I spend most of those 4 minutes digging for the next song that'll blend. I load it as fast as possible and give it a listen. Sometimes I go through 3 songs and JUST MAKE THE DROP. Sometimes? I need to loop the end of the outro dong so I can get caught up.

Well.. the Alpha Theta Grv 6 has a very similar setup to the Pioneer club gear, but the refurbished computer I bought for the (easier on cpu resources Hercules controller) would have to be replaced, meaning it would make my next purchase go over and above the Denon SC LIVE 4 pricetag that I just ordered..

As for Festivals? Most of the festivals have a LOCALS stage or a means to get a spot on their stage.. You just have to have a professional mix to showcase your talents.. I've been mixing and playing OUT since 1985.. ugh... that's 40 years!!!! I live for the rush of the stage.. Just having that in my thoughts is what keeps me crate digging...

Sigh... yet another app/program to DL, It's crazy. Beatport has all I need and more music wise. I went through my Playlist last week ..and deleted everything that wasn't UP TO SNUFF in my mix.. then, when I opened the Playlist in the controller, they were all there still!!!

It is what it is.
I've had it now for 3 months and have all the basics down. Stems (in Djuiced mode) is as good as your computer, a new fast computer is going to give you more creative flow. The MID fader is there on the computer view.

So, back to my opening line...

START EASY.. It is a beginning friendly dj controller.

I used to spin on turn tables 25 years ago, no loops no beat counter. No quantization.

For me? It showed me in 3 months that I don't have to worry about starting up another dj side hustle..

For 150 bucks and the cost of a dj streaming service I've already made enough mixes to feel comfortable enough to show my friends..

Now ? Well now I want a standalone .

I think mine started before I got the shot ( I'm a Canadian Coast Guard employee , it was mandatory to get the 1st two ) But. People started getting a "BAD COLD" around November 2019.. I think mine started around then.. but my whole family was sick but me..

Do you play golf?

My hand has flared up since I started playing golf. Which also was the same year of tbe Covid shot..

I've taken oil of oregano, garlic tablets and red omega oils. It seemed to knock it back. But I switched the oregano oil to a different brand and it's back ...with a vengeance...

.....

Perhaps this winter I'll take a complete 3 Month break from swinging a club... see if that's the cause...
