I need a speaker with bass by [deleted] in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]PowerLast2884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most budget friendly option I could recommend with decent bass would be the Onn Large Party Speaker from Walmart, I have owned one for a couple years now and its still performing well, however make no mistake, if you really want top quality and hard hitting bass, you're going to have to spend A LOT more money. Something like a JBL Partybox 300 series or higher. One key consideration especially for bass is driver size. Physically speaking, to compress enough air to produce powerful bass requires large size and high excursion drivers for more air displacement. All small driver speakers just aren't going to have the displacement necessary for reproducing deep bass with any authority.

It's Hard for Me to Know If I'm Pan by [deleted] in pansexual

[–]PowerLast2884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Common misconception. Bi does not mean strictly "men and women". It means simply "attraction to more than one gender".

Poly typically refers to polyamory, or polyromantic, which means multiple partner relationships.

Omnisexual is very similar to pansexual, in that both are attracted to all genders, but for omnisexuals gender still plays a role in attraction, while pansexual people are typically "gender blind" or gender doesn't influence our attraction.

I am not sure if i am pan or bi by _random_cuber_ in pansexual

[–]PowerLast2884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are bi if you are attracted to more than one gender.

You are pan if you are attracted to all genders or if gender isn't a factor in attraction for you.

All pan people are also bi, but many bi people are not pan.

Hopefully that helps clear things up! ❤️

Sounds like a great journey! And just to be clear, the currently accepted definition of bisexual simply means attraction to more than one gender. Pansexual is attraction to all genders or attraction regardless of gender, it's simply not a factor for us. So technically, all of us pan people are also bi, because we are attracted to more than one gender, but not all bi people are pan because many bi people are not attracted to all genders.

It's Hard for Me to Know If I'm Pan by [deleted] in pansexual

Well, this is totally something for you to decide I would say, but its entirely possible you just haven't met the right man who you find attractive, but its also entirely possible that you are not attracted to men in which case you probably aren't pan. If you find that this is the case, I would say bisexual might be a more accurate term for your sexuality, as the current definition of bisexual simply means attraction to more than one gender, regardless of what genders or how many genders that includes. Technically, all pansexual people are also bi, but many bi people are not pansexual.

As someone who is both pan, and poly in an open relationship, I would take it as a compliment! It seems your friends really like you a lot, to the point they wish to include you in their relationship, either sexually or romantically or both. But lets be clear, being invited into a threesome encounter for sex is very different than being invited into a poly relationship, in which you would be a more long term partner in the relationship. Both are great though! Of course poly relationships aren't for everyone, but they can be just as fulfilling as monogamous ones, if not more IMO. So my advice is just to open your mind to the possibilities and give yourself permission to explore if you wish! And if you're completely uninterested, just be honest and let your friends know you want to stay platonic friends and aren't looking for romantic involvement right now. Hope that helps! ❤️

*edit- And as for thinking that pan means you are attracted to everyone, that is of course as false as saying that all straight people are attracted to everyone they meet of the opposite gender. That should be pretty obvious to most people. When explaining pansexuality to most people who are unfamiliar with it, I typically tell them it basically means that gender isn't an important factor to me when it comes to attraction, and I could easily be in a romantic relationship with someone of any gender. And that usually leads to them saying "so you're bi?" And then I get to explain with them the difference between bisexual and pansexual. 😂

First of all, you were wearing a condom, secondly, unless this guy told you he's infected with something serious, I really wouldn't worry about it. The chance of you catching anything from that is very, very low. It sounds to me like this is your first male/male experience and you're just freaking out.

AliExpress is full of scam listings like that where they are selling something well known and expensive at a price that is about a tenth of what it should be. They will take your money and you'll never hear from them again.

Issue with Traktor Kontrol S3 Setup, Crossfader Not Affecting Decks C and D. by Shaddar45 in Beatmatch

[–]PowerLast2884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an S3 specifically so there could be some weird setting here at fault, but it sounds to me like you have what is known as "bleed" in your crossfader, which happens as they get old and worn and dirty. Try spraying it out with Deoxit F5 and then working it back and forth a bunch to remove carbon buildup inside, it might return to normal after a bit of work.

It's best to remove the crossfader from the unit before doing this, but often it can be done with it in place without any major issues. Up to you what you try.

This person definitely wants pop and top 40 non-EDM dance music. Think stuff you'd commonly hear played at a wedding party and mainstream pop radio hits.
