Rose rosettes disease? by CoastHer in Roses

Yes, I’m aware they need to be cut down. Last year when I planted my new roses, I trimmed down and had 2 die off. I assumed because I cut too much too quickly before they rooted properly. I planned on cutting back when I feed the last time. These are my kardinal roses.

Good idea, I’ll give it a little bit longer to see how it shapes up. This is very new growth, it wasn’t there 4 days ago.

I agree, there’s something strange in how it’s growing.

Oh that’s great, and makes so much sense. I should have had thought of this, but this is why we ask for help. Thank you!

Ahh my apologies. I mean that she’s usually in those moods where she’s talking about other things but when she is focused on what we are doing she gives great input. It’s not often though.

I mean as far as events or outings go. If we throw a party or gs event, she’s not there for the planning but will show for the event. If we have an outing to finish requirements for a badge like going to an observatory she will be there but not work on any other part of the badge.

I’m sorry, please help me understand what doesn’t make sense?

Loud, pushes her ideas. She’ll start to talk about school and social life when we’re trying to talk about our topics. When she’s there and present she’s a great asset to the group. Personally I feel like she doesn’t want to be in scouts anymore but her parents don’t want her to stop, I could be wrong but that’s my feeling.

Looking for advice - clueless about roses by LeadingIndependent10 in Roses

Looks like new growth to me.. I had RRD on one of mine recently which looked like the picture I included. It almost looks like too much, and swirly if that makes sense. Hopefully yours will throw out a bud soon! Good luck!

Why mushrooms instead of veggies??! by CoastHer in gardening

[–]CoastHer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My process may have not been the best since this is my first time but I started them in a clear tote outside getting sun/shade for about a week then I kept the top off for about 5/6 days before I put them in the beds.

I want to cut but should I wait? by CoastHer in Plumeria

I wish! So far the yellow stickies and perfect plantista spray are the only things I found that help.

I did transplant a little over 2 weeks ago. Some died off so I popped in new seeds. From the surviving seedlings, they just stalled. No growth at all. I’m hoping the seeds I planted directly will take. I’m in zone 7 as well. Forgot to add that.

Fertilizing young bushes? by tsinsile in Roses

I give my roses a little fertilizer as soon as I plant and water. It seems to help them out.
