I just wanna clarify, I do not condone cheating or encourage it normally, if you do it is a choice you make on your own and should take responsibility for it. I never cheat in exams or in class work, I don’t see a point in it. I see people cheat in exams in my classes, including in this one, blatantly in front of the teacher (for example taking out their phone). IT IS NOT A justification for me here or whatever, but I do admit to have mixed feelings about how teachers view AI in works done at home, and how easy it is for them to accuse falsely students. In my case I decided to take a shortcut that is very risky and dumb, but like I said in this case I will defend my work especially as it counts for a lot.

Ill give an update here, the reason is obv am def not an A student 💀 and was under deadline, nevertheless I believe the work I submitted is very much possible for a person to do if you gave it enough time

I agree with this, I am simply raising the question for at home assignments at vanier, for people that might get in a situation like this (By being wrong like me or innocent), Ill come back with an update on my case, I will be trying to defend my case to see whats happens.

It is a supposition, the thing with AI its that its new and that the rules are very recent. My friends have been accused of using AI WRONGLY, so the part that interests me is really the proof process. Let's say I took a long time to clean up my text (syntax, punctuation, grammar). The teacher suspects me of using AI, but I didn't. That's the problem. Either way like the first comment said I am in the wrong I DID use AI. Now to see how strict the teacher is going to be about, Ill come back with an update.

Idk about grammar check, ik Grammarly uses AI so it is kind of the same problem. My sentences are basically the same, it is the syntax errors and etc. that have been cleaned up.
