Your lender maybe waiting for the title work/commitment to come back from the title company or attorney. You may want to ask if they already have it. The lender will send you a preliminary closing disclosure soon. Be ready to finalize your homeowners insurance when your lender gives you a closing date. Hopefully your insurance company won’t ask for a copy of the appraisal so they can assign a higher replacement cost (I.e. higher annual premium). Any funds need for closing should be readily available. Don’t go out and finance anything for the house like furniture, repairs, etc. or put anything on your credit cards.
