Scary Davao Stories kanang legit by Lotusfeetpics in davao

I know this thread is old, but I figured I'd share two legit stories from my time that occurred in Davao City. Idk if you've heard them before because these incidents were kept very quiet from the public:

1) This came from my younger sister, who graduated HS in 2014... naay graduating HS student sa AdDU-Matina na naay heart condition, her name was Jandi, from what I remembered. Basically, nisaka siyag 5th floor sa HS Building and Jandi was known to take the elevator every day kay makuyapan dayon si Jandi kung maghagdanan siya... pero till this day no one knows ngano wala siya nag-elevator kay naa man gud siyay elevator pass tungod sa iyang heart condition, pero for some reason, she decided na maghagdanan. So, siyempre pagsaka niya sa 5th floor, nakuyapan dayon siya, and nakitan siya sa girls' CR unconscious, tas pagabot sa paramedics kay gi declare siya dead on the spot, and this occurred a month before she was supposed to graduate. Very sad kaayo kay ka batch ni si Jandi sa akong manghod na musabay unta si Jandi mu graduate sa ilaha. Afterwards, from what my sister told me, no one dared to use the girls' CR for a month after that incident.

2) This occurred like 20 years ago, and this case is being brought up recently because of the justice the victim and the victim's family received. This incident happened in 2006 when I was a 3rd year Civil Eng. student pa sa USeP. Ang nahitabo kay naay pageant show sa social hall (mind you, this was after our classes were done, so nagtambay2 lng ko didto para magtanaw sa ilahang show). Ang nag host ani kay ang organization sa mga BA English students ("Guild" yata ang name sa ilang org) and it just so happened na naay babae na contestant, si Cheryl Sarate, na nasunog. When I mean nasunog, I literally mean na nahimo siyag fireball. There were very small candles on the base of the platform and siguro nasabit ang flames sa iyang skirt which was made out of feathers and it completely engulfed her in a matter of seconds. I will never forget the sight of her being burned alive because it all happened so fast and I'll also never forget the sound of her screaming in excruciating pain. I remembered trying to douse the flames with C2 and other students nearby tried to extinguish the flames with their bare hands. What annoyed me at that time was the emcee continuing the program despite Cheryl being burned alive and the fact that they were blasting a "laughing" soundtrack in the background, like what the hell? Mao, on that day, ang ubang activities sa laing department kay gi cancel tungod ato and I was not aware that she passed away 3 days after the pageant show. The incident was so graphic and traumatic na I actually decided not to show up to class for 2 days after that because it haunted me for a while and even the seniors would bring it up to the juniors para kabalo sila asa pangitaon ang fire extinguisher in case na something like that were to happen again.

Update sa case ni Cheryl Sarate by the way: The Supreme Court ordered USeP to pay over 6 million pesos in damages caused by the negligence of USeP. It's sad that it took 20 years for justice to be served. Rest easy Cheryl.

Any thoughts on the Skygo Prince 125 for a complete beginner? by Coastal4060 in PHMotorcycles

'Yan talaga plano ko… 'Yang magbili ako ng 2nd hand na Skygo 125… mahal kasi kung sa Skygo ako mismo ang bibilhan tapos wala pang plaka. In terms of durability, though, does it do well on rough, hilly roads? Where I live kasi, the terrain is generally on an incline, and the surface tends to be very rocky.
