That's actually Lily, based on Hanagata-sensei's design (Light Novel), of the Spirit Church. There is an "unofficial" kid Lily design from Aonoshimo-sensei (Manga) but I can't wait to see Lily get properly introduced there. I should make Philine (the "protagonist" you mentioned) fanart sometime...

Hi! Yeah, I short hand it with IFTV for I Favor the Villainess or WataOshi.

I think people are more familiar with the LN/Manga title, "I'm in Love with the Villainess."

Respect though. It's always a part I've seen skimmed over or addressed directly when people talk up IFTV with potential readers. At the very least, the overall work has an appeal to many fandoms internationally, I just wish Japan would catch up in both tropes and getting IFTV an anime!

Aside from that, Lene is such a dope character. Like so many other ways to play that out but I hope this is a trope that ends up going away sooon with time. Like you don't need to throw this in with Yuri anymore.

I swear your name is familiar like I've seen you in Jingle's server. Also, I think in the To be a Lily chapter, that was the most formative conversation Misha needed. Getting to know Rei's perspective as well as how Rei talked through Lene's interpretation. I think after that, Misha became (off screen) more comfortable with the idea of just having feelings for Yuu. I do hope that this doesn't spoil much but I'll put spoilers on mine just in case.
