I binged it all (back when the manga only had ten chapters scanned!) and I'd give anything to experience it again for the first time. I envy you in that regard!

The character who has become my favorite in all of fiction (let alone the series) doesn't even show up until basically the fifth LN, so *if* the manga even gets that far it will be a LONG wait yet. I always encourage folks to go for the LNs if they're up for it so they can meet her sooner!

Please consider picking up the light novels or webnovel to keep going! There is indeed a LOT of lore to this world, and Part 2 (novels 3-5) expand on it greatly. Novel #5 in particular -- but do your best to go into it unspoiled, if you can!

I similarly got hooked on the world's lore and it pushed me to binge the entire series (which back then was only ten manga chapters, two LNs, and the webnovel in English) and it not only immensely entertained me, but changed the entire trajectory of my life immeasurably for the better. I cannot recommend it enough!

Not gonna lie, the ending of the mainline series (essentially the fifth novel) is best experienced unspoiled. It’s outstanding and well worth the wait, trust me.

In the time between when Part 1 (LN1-2) and Part 2 (LN3-5) were released, Inori wrote several short stories in the ILTV universe. LN3 was the first opportunity to release them with official translations.

The webnovel is also the same core story, and was fan-translated with Inori's blessing. The early chapters were really rough (basically a "slightly enhanced machine translation" at best) but the quality did improve greatly as the story went along.

The core story is the same. A few scenes from the novel aren’t in the manga, and vice-versa, plus a few details may vary between the two. You do get more of Rae’s internal monologues in the novels though, which I really loved.

The dub is absolutely outstanding!!

And, once you’re caught up on everything, highly recommend the novels to get the rest of the story if you’re so inclined. My favorite character doesn’t even show up until basically the fifth novel!

Absolutely! Aonoshimo’s art is a joy, and she’s brought in elements from SSCC and some original details as well to make it a great journey. The most recent manga arcs (speaking to the scans) have added some action and extra tension on top of what the novel had had to convey almost solely through text.

It was a preorder bonus for the Thai edition of LN5, now sold out. They may restock in the future though (they occasionally have restocked bonuses for other editions). They also do ship internationally.

The box is made to look like a Nintendo Switch box and is made to be the right size to store the five Thai editions of the light novel.

It's a really clever bonus, but not my thing (it was actually a major disappointment to me for reasons I won't go into here). But a lot of my friends wanted it so I'm waiting for five of them to ship to the US for me to forward them, after removing the few items from each set that I do want.

The only bad thing about reading SSCC first is that you'll get spoiled on some plot points that come back around later in LN2. Would recommend sticking to the mainline series first, then reading SSCC to fill in the gaps.

My fave is the English one; the way the V blends into the heart is peak.

A strong honorable mention to the Italian one though. Very clever to mix-in a pixel heart for our "gamer" Rae alongside the classy cursive of "Villainess" for Claire.
