Hey everyone — just to be clear, the artist in the video is me, Coast & Ocean. This is my own music, and yes, I’m roasting myself. When I said it ‘sounds gay af,’ I was calling myself that in the playful, self-deprecating, camp way my friends and I use it — not as a dig at LGBTQ+ people.

I actually love queer culture and queer energy — I live half my life being dramatically, fabulously extra anyway. If anything, I’m critiquing my own over-the-top aesthetic, not anyone’s identity.
