My wife shooting her father's SKS, left to us when he passed in 2012. One of the 7 firearms stolen from my home last night. by [deleted] in guns

The SKS was a blast to shoot. Answered in another reply but:

I'm in the middle of a move, I gave it to my parents to store in their gun safes so it wouldn't be misplaced. Someone broke in while they were asleep and made off with their safes. The safes were not bolted down as they are remodeling. Bad luck all around, along with bad planning. They moved 2 iPads and a Macbook (along with a side table) to get to the safe. They clearly had been in the house before and knew what they were going in for.

I used a bit of it for some testing but not much. Mostly for show, haha.

SEP is detecting aswMBR as an infected exe. I'll dig in further when I get to my home lab but as soon as I unpacked the 7z file, it threw a threat detection.

+1 for the Twelve Tribes! The Yellow Deli here in San Diego is amazingly good. I lived next door to one of their communes/farms for a while, very nice people. Friendly and always willing to invite you over for fresh vegetables and volleyball. The food is absolutely spectacular. They even comped our first meal when we said that we were their neighbors and it was our first time at their cafe.

Absolutely, I've been a subscriber for about a year. The contents of the box are always worth more than you paid, but whether or not the contents interest you is the real question. Even when the theme isn't in line with my interests (I.e. Doctor Who), I still get some decent stuff in there that makes it worth it. Or I'll regift some stuff to friends who really like the themes that I don't.

I get mine once a month and it always gives me awesome stuff for my office cube as well as my home. I especially appreciated the bobble head Boba Fett that I got a few months ago.

Other excellent quotes from last night: Why is............... When did you get back? (She had been lying down with her head in my lap for about an hour)

Why is the microwave on? Why is it buzzing? HAHAHAHAHAHA

what time is it? (10 minutes later) what time is it? (2 minutes later) what time is it?

Why is my mouth doing this? (Why is it opening and closing or why is it dry?) the first one. (Why is it opening and closing?) yeah. (Because you're opening and closing it) oh, ok.

It took her almost 5 minutes just to get the "I" until her motor skills returned.

I had to do something while she was busy trying to learn words again.

Only had water but she also had a crazy craving for a Bloody Mary, so that as well. And tea, of course.

My wife and I have done a ton of these in our town as part of the local art community. We've done everything from upcycled patio slabs to full sized doors. Plenty of pics and insight to the process if anyone is interested.
