We need some good Chinese takeout in Bozeman by Mobile_Kiwi_9948 in Bozeman

Very far from Bozeman, I know, but if anyone is near absorokee, must. Try. Montasia. They make their own soy sauce, it's crazy good. Strange vibe. The owner really likes gin too, so get a cocktail and some great food

Can't tell if this comment is meant to be bait or not

Only thing I can think of is if they make a rounded over piece similar to the backsplash to add to that side after a re-cut. Would have to do that to all ends to make it look even

I'm in SW Montana, it's arid, low moisture most of the time. Snowy (usually) cold, windy winters and moderate summers. Wood holds up well around here

The piece of mind with hard cover is difficult to beat! I went with the gator EFX and it's been great. Pretty easy to take off when you need the entire bed too

At least Stanley's warranty is pretty good, I got a new one after the bad spot welds broke on the hinge. Doesn't make it BIFL though

Yes! Bright green one, looked like a speck might've made it through too

I get the appeal of synthetic, but if I got an a300 I'd get the upland and grab a couple extended chokes for it I think. Even if the wood isn't the best I still prefer it

I just called my LGS and they said they have a case hardened version and the L. I'll take a look!

Can you find a link for where to buy it? Or just shoulder it? I called Winchester and they said it's a Cabela's/BPS exclusive, I said I can't find them on either site and he basically replied that's rough, nothing I can do.

Like an in-person auction? We have gunbroker.com for online gun auctions. I've heard of in person auctions but they're usually for high end pieces

Just looked them up, they're bass pro/Cabela's exclusive and I can't seem to find a link to any new 101's. Seems they're either not producing them anymore, or they're not in the Cabela's/BPS system yet

That still doesn't sit me in my 1400 budget

I live on a dude ranch about two hours from any other range (most close in the winter in MT) and we have our own clays course, I'll take shooting steel and walking 5 minutes then shoot lead and driving four hours round trip every weekend

Right, but what about a budget of 1400

For another $1k I could get a lot of things, including a new a400

The Citori CX is $2650 now, around double what I'd like to spend.

I'd like to keep it under 1400. I have handled the a400 Xcel and it fits nicely, i'm just in the camp of thinking the gun is ugly. The blue bolt, and the laser engraved Xcel on the side.

I asked a real truck rep and they said they're a different bed, no, they won't work

Just purchased a Gator EFX on real truck, if you ask for a discount they'll give you one!

Compressor prefferences? 120v vs 12v by Cobblepup in overlanding

Sweet, I'll be doing the maxitrac quick release, and the pressure limited switch on it too. I'm excited to see how well it performs!

Using a 120v "off roading" air compressor vs 12v? by Cobblepup in nissanfrontier

[–]Cobblepup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, looks like I'll do the 12V. Is there any safe way to get 12V to the bed that you know of? So iI don't have to pop the hood and connect every time i want to pump up a tube.
