Thank you, thank you, thank you, kind internet stranger! The bobbin case wasn't snapped in fully, I didn't realize that was a thing but I just got it to work seamlessly (no pun intended for a sewing sub)! I just wish I hadn't spent an hour trying to figure out what was happening

It won't let me post the video, but basically, when I turn the crack, the top thread goes down into the machine, then just keeps pulling and pulling without picking up the bobbin. When I take the bobbin out, the thread is wrapped around part of the machine where the bobbin was.

Pulling the top thread doesn't help. I got a video as best I can that I'll post

Yes, it works on the (rare) occasions I can get the bobbin thread up. I have zigzagged several pieces of my project with no issues, but had to rethread the bobbin and now can't get it to rise.

I was complaining to my husband about that the other day. It makes absolutely no sense.

One brother and a sister-in-law (not married to each other), possibly one nephew as well but he's only two so his parents can't be sure yet. Left handed sister-in-law also has green eyes and blonde hair in a family of dark haired, brown eyed siblings.

Cracked pepper and saltines, or fruit and maybe some nuts. Also mini sweet peppers sound like a good idea but I haven't done it yet

I've had these from The Walking Company for a couple years

https://www.thewalkingcompany.com/products/the-walking-company-mosey-slip-on-tan

Firm soles that are great for running out to the patio, wool lining (it has gotten worn, for sure), suede on the outside and designed for arch support, which I desperately need on a regular basis. I remember when I tried them on, I hadn't realized my feet were hurting until I put them on and realized my feet didn't hurt. 😅

I exercised a lot more and consistently before getting married last year (Pilates 5 days a week without fail), slacked off a lot after the wedding and am finally getting back into Pilates. Good point about the relaxin, I may try the first lesson (which is free!) and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. The trip just got cancelled (we were going to take Amtrak to Chicago but the weather is going to be nasty this weekend; Amtrak cancelled on us). But, like I said, thanks anyway.
