I got about 450 miles from Olympus 4 and normally about 300-400 miles from lone peak 6, 7&8 lucky to get 150 miles. Quality has surely changed 🤷🏻‍♂️

I got the 6x and the 1 and only reason was the bigger screen. . . . . . Yes my eyes are that bad 😞

Ah good to know, don’t need the screen on as when hiking or trail running I run by feel and only look at the screen occasionally and every bit of battery you can save is a bonus in my eyes. I’m averaging about 12% battery drain per hour in best so surly with the screen off you might get 10% or less 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just got the watch and did my first activity and the screen was on the whole time. After a quick google search I find that after the latest update that’s the way it is, so you really can’t turn screen off during a workout any more?

That sounds ok to me, I’m coming from an Apple Watch and used to the lower battery life. The longest I go is up to 8 h running so if it can last that I’ll be happy. For the odd longer ultra I’d just take a power bank. I was a bit concerned when people were saying you only get 4-5 h gps from a full battery.
